JFS is all about people. Who we help and who helps us. Our Board of Directors is no exception. Though each became involved with JFS through a different path – be it as a Luncheon guest unfamiliar with JFS or as a dedicated food delivery volunteer – they all share a strong belief in the work JFS does to help our community’s most vulnerable.
This year we are welcoming new Board Members Karyn Barer, Scott Jacobson, Avi Lipman and Noah Tratt. They bring expertise in business, law and advertising – experiences they will draw from to help guide JFS forward.
We also congratulate President Gail Mautner on her new position. “The success of JFS is the result of an amazing team of dedicated professionals, volunteers and donors, who work together to achieve our shared goals of stability, health and well-being for each person that we serve,” explains Mautner. “I am looking forward to the work ahead as we complete our strategic planning process and remain focused on being responsive to our community’s changing needs.”
CEO Will Berkovitz commented, “The integrity and wisdom of our Board Members is extraordinary. They live out the highest Jewish values of dedication and service to others. I feel grateful for the opportunity to work with them.”
