Here to Stay

From the agency’s inception and founding vision in 1892, Jewish Family Service has always viewed hope as the most powerful verb. On April 23, 2018, that same optimism and action was evident when 1,116 people came together at the Community of Caring Luncheon in support of the work JFS does to help people achieve well-being, health and stability.

Donors and sponsors contributed an extraordinarily generous total of $1,514,659 to ensure JFS can continue to provide neighbors in the Puget Sound region the help they need to live with the hope they deserve.

As the 2018 Luncheon Chairs Bobbi Chamberlin and JoAnn Forman remarked from the podium, “We, as a community, are fortunate to know that Jewish Family Service is here for… all of us, every day. Celebrating its 125th anniversary, JFS is a vital community resource. JFS is responding, JFS is evolving. And, JFS is here to stay.”
