Jewish Family Service and our community depend on volunteers like Dena, who is a Friendly Visitor, and Richard and Evie, who deliver food baskets so our community members can celebrate holidays traditionally.
Volunteers are, and have always been, the heart of Jewish Family Service. Volunteers began the work of JFS in 1892, and it is volunteers who continue helping individuals and families in our community today. Volunteers are instrumental in fulfilling our mission to help people achieve well-being, health and stability.
JFS offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families and groups, including D-I-Y projects and b’nai mitzvah projects that help us meet the most immediate needs of the people we serve.
We cannot do this work without you. Thank you!
